Task 1C - Game Defect Triggers

Configuration Trigger: pre-game or in-game: The game defect can trigger from how the game is configured either from how the player has changed the settings, or how the configuration of one piece of hardware/software battles against another hardware/software.

Start-up Trigger: happens in the game start: This defect can happen while the game is being loaded up, mainly due to the amount of information being loaded or a combat in loading up old information from a previous save file.

Exception Trigger: can start in all regions: This trigger happens when something exceptional happens that the software cannot distinguish and so causes a stop error to appear rendering the software at hand completely useless.

Stress Trigger: happens in-game: This is a trigger that happens when the hardware or software at hand is put into a stressful situation, this will strain the machine or game by presenting a task that cannot be complete.

Normal Trigger: in-game: These triggers are very mild and will appear in game but won’t stop the player from continuing their play-through of the game, these triggers can be caused from all kinds of things mainly from how the player has played the game.

Restart Trigger: game start, in-game, post-game: A restart trigger is when the game or machine has to display a restart error message due to some sort of update or error that has appeared.
